![]() ![]() IOSKeePass goes if especially Biometrics (TouchID/FaceID) This is really a strange behavior which i have not had until now, we all run our keepass dbs with keyx files and password generated by KeePassXC or keepass windows original from Domink Reichl, on Windows, Linux and OSX.Īctually there are only 2 possibilities which could cause the problem. So that there's no DropBox nor any cloud in the way. Just to exclude a DropBox issue, I also tried to download both file, have them stored in the iPhone, and load these local files in iOSKeepass. I'm also 100% sure that's the key file I use works with that database. I'm 100% sure of the password I type, so suspect that error message to be generic? I don't make -/_ or nor o/0.O confusions. ![]() It doesn't make much sense to me to have the database and the key in a list named database, but as long as it works, I can live with that.įinally I tap the database again, type the password in again, now I can add my key file, validate, and then get the same error message as before: "Could not open database / passwords are not identical". Therefore, I went back to the database menu, and just added the keyfile the same way I just added the db file. Now I tap on the db, type the password in, then click "None" under Key File, expecting an upload menu, but no. So I select the kdbx file and get back to the "database" screen. In DropBox, when going through the whole pass, I realized I was finally able to see both kdbx AND keyx. Then I select DropBox from the top screen menu. I removed the connection to the kdbx file in iOSKeepass, then went through the whole process again.īefore starting over, I made sure the kdbx file AND the keyx file were set as accessible offline, in DropBox.įrom iOS KeePass, I tap the bottom/middle-right button.
